Built for the mail a law practice gets

Court notices, checks, originals and client documents. You decide what happens to each item from your portal, and we handle it the same day.

  • Court notices seen the day they arrive

Every envelope is photographed and logged the day it is delivered, and you get an email at that moment. Ask for it to be opened and scanned and read the whole notice from your phone.

  • Settlement checks and originals

Checks and signed originals wait until you decide. Pick them up, send someone you have authorized, or have them forwarded to you, a client or your bank, including USPS overnight.

  • Confidential by default

Scans and envelope photos are never emailed. They stay inside your portal, behind two-factor sign-in, with optional authenticator-app or passkey login, and every action on every item is logged.

  • Your staff can pick up

Authorize up to three people, such as a paralegal or assistant, to pick up mail for you. Each completes the same USPS identity check you do.

  • An address for the letterhead

A professional office address for letterhead, your website, business cards, engagement letters and client-facing materials. Not a P.O. box, and not your home address.

  • Form 1583 done online

The Postal Service requires USPS Form 1583 for every mail-receiving address. You complete it online with our notary right after checkout, with two forms of ID. No office visit.

Who it's for

  • Solo attorneys and small firms

A professional office address for your letterhead and website instead of your home address, with your mail handled while you are in court or with clients.

  • Firms opening an LA or Philadelphia office

An address in Downtown LA, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West LA or Center City Philadelphia, without signing a lease first.

  • Attorneys based in another state

A local mailing address for client-facing materials, with your mail read from wherever you practice. Check your bar's rules before using it as an address of record.

Not a law practice? Accountants, consultants, and small and remote businesses can use the same plans at the same prices.

Questions attorneys ask first

More in the full FAQ, or call (213) 232-3820.

Is this built for a law practice's mail?

Yes. Attorneys and law firms are who we built it for, and any business is welcome. Every envelope is photographed and logged the day it arrives, so a court mailing is visible the same day. Scans stay behind your secure login, checks and originals wait until you decide what happens to them, and you can authorize up to three people from your office to pick up.

Can I use the address on my letterhead and with my State Bar?

You can put it on your letterhead, website, business cards, engagement letters and client correspondence. Whether it can be your official address of record depends on your bar's and your court's rules, so check with them before you list it. We are not a registered agent for service of process and we don't give legal advice.

How fast will I see a court notice or a check?

The same business day it is delivered to the building. Each envelope is photographed and logged, and you get an email at the same moment. If you ask us to open and scan it, the pages go into your secure portal, usually the same business day.

What happens to settlement checks and signed originals?

Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose. Hold an item for pickup, collect it yourself or send someone you have authorized, or have it forwarded to you, a client or your bank by USPS, including overnight.

Are scans sent by email?

No. The email only tells you something arrived. Envelope photos and scans are only visible inside your password-protected portal, with two-factor sign-in by email or text and optional authenticator-app or passkey login.

Is it a real street address or a P.O. box?

A real street address in a professional office building. It is not a P.O. box. Like every mail-receiving service, the Postal Service gives you a private mailbox (PMB) number at that address, which we assign when you sign up.

What is USPS Form 1583 and do I have to do it?

Yes. Federal rules require everyone who receives mail at a mail-receiving service to complete USPS Form 1583 with two forms of ID before mail can be accepted. Any provider that skips it is breaking the rules. You do it online with our notary right after checkout. It is not a paid extra.

Is there a contract or setup fee?

No setup fee and no long-term contract. Plans are month to month, and you can cancel any time.

What counts as a scanned page?

The envelope photo is free and never counts. A scanned page is one side of one sheet inside an envelope you ask us to open. A three-page letter is three pages. Extra pages beyond your plan are $1 each, and the Unlimited plan has no limit.

I'm not a lawyer. Can I still use it?

Of course. Accountants, consultants, and small and remote businesses can use the same plans at the same prices, from $19 to $249 a month. Banks and Secretaries of State each have their own rules about addresses at a mail-receiving service, so check with them before you file. Google Business Profile does not allow a mail-receiving address unless your own staff work there.
